The pharmaceutical scenario in our country, demonstrating the country’s framework as well as the ratio of human resources in health. Emphasizing the low ratio of existing pharmacists in the country and the initiatives implemented by the Order of Pharmacists in order to promote the appreciation of the professionals within the Government and the population.
It will be a brief presentation of the situation of the pharmaceutical profession in a country that, despite being small, still has an insufficient number of pharmacists to match the ratio recommended by the WHO. Due to its insularity, the challenges become greater, making it difficult for all professionals to have access to continuous training. OFCV fights for professional recognition among the population and the public health system.
